From Mumbai rituals to Melbourne glow

Two sisters. Two very different skin stories. One shared dream.

Country of Glow is a Melbourne-born skincare brand founded by sisters Heli and Leen.Originally from Mumbai, India, the sisters carried their family’s beauty rituals with them to Melbourne, their new home and a city they quickly fell in love with.

We created uncomplicated skincare for people who want hydrated, radiant-looking skin without turning their bathroom shelf into a beauty laboratory.

How it started ?

A childhood ritual that travelled from Mumbai to Melbourne

Growing up in Mumbai, skincare in the Vyas household was not a nightly obligation or a shelf overflowing with products. It was a simple beauty ritual reserved for meaningful moments and something the sisters genuinely looked forward to.

Years later, Heli and Leen carried that memory with them to Melbourne.

They fell in love with its energy, creativity, multicultural identity and famously unpredictable four-seasons-in-one-day weather. But while the sisters shared a childhood, a new city and a love of beauty, their skin could not have been more different.

Heli is the sister who reads the ingredient list, compares textures and asks approximately seventeen questions before trying a new product.

Her own skincare journey navigating through acnes, hyperpigmentation and sensitive skin , inspired her a more considered approach: fewer unnecessary steps, comfortable formulas and products that are easy to fit into real life.

Leen

"The texture enthusiast"

Leen wants her skincare to feel nourishing but never unnecessarily heavy. If a formula leaves skin feeling soft, comfortable and beautifully moisturised, she is listening.

Her experience with dry-feeling skin helped shape the richer, more comforting side of the Country of Glow collection.
